Mr. G. W. Brown age 89 of Cordova, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.  Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in New Horizon Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 11:00 to 12:00 Saturday at the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Brown.

Survivors include his sons, Johnny Brown (Gloria), James W. Brown (Sandy), Dub Douglas Brown; 10 grandchildren, Marilyn Cunningham (Jeremy), Tempie Sue Brown (Fiancée-Casey), Vickie Brown (Fiancée-Chris), Penny Hartness, Jamie Galyon, James Brown, Jr., Shawn Brown, Priscilla Brown, Abel Brown, Ashley Welch and Jimmy Welch; 11 great grandchildren, Logan, Jake, Tyler, Jesse, Lucas, Amber, Colton, Paul, Megan, Andrew and Tyler; and a host of other relatives and friends.
