Mrs. Glinda Elain Butler, age 69 of Empire passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with cremation following.  Rev. Marlon Eddy will officiate. Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the funeral.

Preceding her in death were her daughter, Kimberly Ann Drummond; son, James Edward Drummond; parents, Edward and Ruth Rhodes; and brother, David Edward Rhodes.

Survivors include her husband, Freeman Butler, Jr. of Empire; son, Travis Butler of Empire; daughter, Devin Michela Lawson and her husband, Steven of Andalusia; brother, Larry Ray Rhodes of Empire; grandchildren, Trevor Butler and Caitlyn Butler, both of Dora; and a host of other relatives and friends.
