Georgia "Lynn" (Whitaker) Ford, March 01, 1955- June 07, 2025.Lynn was born March 01, 1955 to Carlton Leroy and Georgia Dean (Thomas) Whitaker in Meridian, MS. She was the second of three children. She met the love of her life at only 17 years old. She married Billy Ray Ford on July 25, 1972 they spent 53 wonderful years together. They welcomed many children into their home including their four daughters and one son. Lynn spent 20 years managing St. Francis apartments where she made life long friends. Lynn passed from this world June 07, 2025 in her home.

Lynn leaves to cherish her memory daughters: Angel (Danny) Differding, April Ivy, Amie Ford, Amber (Brent) Thomas, Bobbie Sue Boothe, Tiffany (Nate) Merrell and Sarah Pratt, and a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lynn is preceded in death by her loving husband Billy Ray Ford, parents; Carlton and Georgia Whitaker, in-laws; Willie and Eva Ford, son; Andre Lowery Ford, grandsons; Tristen Lee Hale, Carlton Ray Ivy, Gabriel Jones, siblings; June (Whitaker) Miller and Timothy Whitaker.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 11:00 am at Dovertown Free Will Baptist and the repass will be held at the home of Luke and Lisa  (Knight) Ivy in Curry, AL directions will be given out at the church.
