He was proceeded in death by his wife Diane Ridings, son; Timmy Ridings, sister; Carolyn Ridings Cameron and parents; Elbert and Mildred Ridings.

He is survived by his son; Tommy Ridings Jr. of Jasper, granddaughters; Amber, Abby and Adrian Ridings of Jasper, great granddaughter; Raelyn Shonkwiler of Jasper, sisters; Sandra Ridings Breeding of North Carolina and Linda Ridings Jackson of Florida.
