Gabriel James Bateman passed away at UAB on Sunday, June 15,2025. The funeral service will be at Bell Funeral Home Sumiton chapel on Friday, June 20,2025 at 10:00am, visitation will begin at 9:30am for friends, burial to follow at Shangi Cemetery and Pastor Brad Holliman will officiate.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather; Leonard Tubbs,  great grandmother; Cheryl Pentecost, and great uncle; William Bateman.

Gabriel is survived by his mother; Maddison Bateman, brother; Silas Johnson, grandmother; Kimberly Bateman, aunt; Renee Johnson (Frank), uncle; Jojo Tubbs, Gigi; Jenna Uptain, aunt; Payton Akers, aunt; Abby Akers, Uncle; Matthew Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
