Francis Harris age 76, a member of the Empire community, departed for her eternal home on March 13, 2025.

She is survived by her two daughters Brenda Cobb (Michael) and Angie Strickland, sisters; Janette Stripling and Yvonne Tingle.  She has a host of grandchildren, great-grand children, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her husband; Otis Harris; Son, David Holt: Mother Sernie Poore; Father Frank Poore; four brothers and two sisters.

Francis always had an open spot at her table and place for anyone who may have needed a place to lay their head.  She was one of the best fried chicken and biscuit makers you would come across.

Services will be held at Bell Funeral Home Chapel in Sumiton, AL on Monday, March 17, 2025.  Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm for friends of the family with services beginning at 2:00pm.  Burial will be at Little Vines Cemetery in Empire, AL.
