Mrs. Frances Allen, age 76, of Hayden passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at St. Vincent's Birmingham.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.  Bell Sumiton Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Dee Allen; son, Doyle Allen; daughter, Kay Shuford; grandson, Christopher Allen; parents, William and Edith Boyd; brothers, Robert  "Bob" Boyd, Grady Boyd, Brady Boyd and Huey Boyd; and sister, Elizabeth Boyd.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Goodwin (Michael of Hayden; son, Joseph Allen of Hayden; granddaughters, Amber Woodard (Brad) of Hayden, Shelley Tatum (Barry) of Sumterville and Tiffany Towns (Larry) of Quinton; grandsons, Joseph Moncrief and Steven Cordell of Sumiton; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
