Mrs. Edna Lorene Martin, age 85, of Dora passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 8, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at Davis Cemetery. James Aycox and Keith Owens will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mildred Farley; sons, Lonnie Walden and Richard Martin; sisters, Lillian Gant, Ider Box and Esther Gant; and brother, Larry Farley.

She is survived by her husband, John C. Martin Sr. of Dora, AL; sons, Donnie Walden of Dora, AL, Paul Walden (Rhonda) of Union Chapel, AL, John C. Martin Jr. (Patricia) of Empire, AL, Kevin Walden (Kathy) of Morris, AL, Wayne Martin of Morris, AL and Kenny Martin of Morris, AL; sisters, Linda Barnhill of Adger, AL and Kathy Johnson of Sumton, AL; brother, Roy Farley of West Blocton, AL; daughter-in-law, Barbara Walden; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
