Durwood Luther Sellers, age 81 of Dora passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at his residence.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Bryan Cemetery.  Rev. Jack Thorn will be officiating.  Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Hobson and Iona Sellers; sister, Dorothy Rouse; brothers, James Sellers and Ardell Sellers; and grandsons, Eugene Sellers and Josh Sukol.

His survivors include his wife, Ruth Sellers; daughters, Debra Cote, Cheryll Renert, Dothery Kinnick, and Blakeney Sellers; sons, Durwood Luther Sellers Jr., Johnny Sellers and Hobson Sellers; sisters, Edith Dunn, June Hurt and Jane Stilwell; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
