Dorothy Louise Wilson Strickland (better known as Dot) passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Princeton Medical Center in Birmingham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2020 at 12:00 PM from the Bell Sumiton Chapel. Burial will follow in New Canaan Cemetery with Charles Click officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00.

She is survived by 4 children, Robert H. Busby, Kenneth W. Busby, Jane Aldrige and her husband, Steve, and Lynn Busby & Scott Stephens; a brother, Johnny Wilson and his wife, Peggy; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, David Strickland and Hermon Busby; and her parents, Woodrow and Gladys Fewell Wilson.
