Mrs. Doris Dean Raney was born on January 29, 1940, and peacefully entered the arms of Jesus on Sunday, June 8, 2025. She lived a life marked by love, strength, and care for those around her. In her final season, Doris fully surrendered her heart to Jesus Christ, leaving a legacy of faith and hope. Funeral services will be Wednesday June 11, 2025 at 12:00 PM visitation will be an hour prior to service burial to follow at Shanghi Cemetery Bro. Rashad Poole will be officiating.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Raney; parents, Ruby and Mitchell Vintson; siblings, Jimmy Vintson, Paul Vintson, Arvy Allred, and Linda Raney; her son, Michael Ingram; and brother-in-law, George Raney.

She is survived by her brother, Terry Vintson, daughters, Cecilia Riddle and Angela Greene; grandson Trae Moore and his wife, Amanda Moore; great-grandchildren Jaida, Kasen, Laina, and Jaiden; grandson Rashad Poole and his wife, Melissa Poole; great-grandchildren Haven Everly and Baby Boy Poole (due November 2025); grandson Kevin Ingram; great-grandson Michael Ingram; and grandson Jared Poole. Doris was creative and nurturing. She loved painting, gardening, flowers, and watching birds. She had a gentle heart for abandoned animals, often caring for strays and giving them a forever home. Her life and love live on through her family. She will be remembered for her warmth, wisdom, and strong, gentle spirit. We rejoice knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
