Mrs. Doris Faye Holt, age 91, of Empire passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in New Canaan Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Linnie Clark; husband, Milton Holt; brothers, Gene Clark, Jerry Clark and Harold Clark; sisters, Juanita Williamson, Naomi Henderson, Elizabeth Beasley, Betty Clark and Ruby Clark; daughter-in-law, Deborah Holt; and son-in-law, Tim Oneill.

She is survived by her sons, Clayton Holt (Pat) of Empire, David Holt (Sue) of Jasper, Larry Holt (Sueann) of Empire, and Bobby Holt (Darlene) of Quinton; daughter, Annette Mauldin (Dennis) of Empire; Goddaughter, Debra McNiese of Sipsey; brother, E.J. Clark (Mary) of Arley; sisters, Barbara Ricks of Texas, June Booth of Jasper, and Glynda Clark of Warrior; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other relatives.
