Mrs. Dina I. Sharit, age 80, of Sumiton passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.  There will be a private graveside service.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Dina loved music, dancing and playing bingo.  She also loved quilting, and she made homemade quilts for all her loved ones.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Ernest and Versey Findley; husband, James Sharit; sisters, Ernistine (EJ) Brook, Frances (John) Snipes, Eunice (Pete) Watson, and Martha Brooks; brother, Johnny Findley; and brother-in-laws, T. Cornelius and Lloyd Leach.

Survivors include her children, Leah (Royce) Wadsworth, Racky (Ann) Aiken, Mike (Amy) Aiken; step children, James Sharit, Karen Sharit and Belinda Sharit; sisters, Vera Leach, Polly Cornelius and Patricia Hale; grandchildren, Holly (Aubrey), Dave, Lindsey, Rachel (Derek), Matthew (Sarah), Dylan (Kelsey), Rhiannon (Hagen), Meaghan, Molly, and Adam (April); 11 great grandchildren; her boyfriend, James May; and a host of other relatives and friends.
