Della Ann Martin, a lifelong member of the Dora Second Baptist Church, passed away on June 6, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on April 22, 1938, Della was a loving mother, grandmother, and cherished friend to many.

Della was well-known for her culinary skills, often delighting family and friends with her fantastic cooking. She had a particular fondness for the color purple, which reflected her vibrant and joyful personality.

Visitation for Della will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM, In the Bell Sumiton Chapel. Burial to follow at Davis Cemetery. Bro Travis Clemons will be officiating with special speaker Taylor Estus.

Della's survivors are her son; Kevin Martin, daughter;  Katherine Hamilton, grandchildren; Taylor Estus (Adam), Destinee Hamilton, Kristin Hamilton and Brennen Forester, great grandchildren; Elijah Luke Estus, Evie Granger Estus, Jonathan Russell and Hayden Nikko Hamilton, sister; Sarah Sides (J.R.), brother; Cecil "Bo" King (Jane).

Della is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Gertrude King, sister; Jean Copeland, husband; Johniee O'Gwin Martin, children; Anna Marie Martin and Eric O'Gwin Martin, grandson; Jacob Kevin Martin.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
