David Elbert Hollis, age 74 of Quinton, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Cordova Health and Rehab. Mr. Hollis is survived by two brothers, Tommy Hollis and Randy Hollis; a sister, Hellen Hollis; and his special friends, Rufus Green and Leon Dale Wright. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee Dothe and Ruth Hollis; and two brothers, Terry Joe Hollis and Timmy Hollis. Funeral services are planned for Saturday, December 3, at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Bell Funeral Home - Sumiton. Burial will follow at Shanghi Cemetery with Charles Kitchens officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00.
