Mr. David Lane Busby, age 44, of Parrish passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at his residence.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Busby Cemetery.  James Hagood will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, L.B. and Lucille Busby and Dewey and Betty Walls; and father, Benny Busby.

He is survived by his partner, Melissa McGill Busby of Parrish; daughters, Brittney Busby (Corey) of Oakman and Chelsea Busby (Jay) of Orlando; son, Paxton Busby of Parrish; step-son, John Patton of Carbon Hill; grandchildren, Kasen Harvill and Sawyer Harvill of Oakman; parents, Janice Jackson (Darryl) of Sumiton; brother, Scotty Busby (Tessa) of Sumiton; sister, Sissy Laird (Billy) of Prattville; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
