Cynthia Kay Spinks of Bremen, AL went to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the age of 64. Cindy was fun spirited, kind and loyal. She had a way of making you feel seen and loved. Cindy was always there for the people she cared about. Her selflessness and devotion to her friends and family are something we could all learn from. To know Cindy was to love her, and she will be greatly missed by those that had the honor of being a part of her life.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Spinks; parents, Billy Neal Taft Sr. and Peggy May Taft; and brother, Billy Neal Taft Jr.

She is survived by her children, Shawn (Jennifer) Higgins, Dawn (Jeremy) McMillin and Jeremy Higgins; siblings, Sharon (Alan) Wright, Brenda Pate, Robbin (Jack) Caradine and Jerry (Debbie) Taft; grandchildren, Jaelin Higgins, Makayla McMillin, Joaquin Higgins, Kaden McMillin and Jaxson Higgins.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at Shanghi Cemetery. Bill Justice will officiate. Visitation will from 12:00 PM until time of services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
