Ms. Cathy Jean Dickinson Russell, age 65, of Jasper passed away peacefully on June 17, 2021.  She was surrounded by her family.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend.  She loved her family, Jesus and her special pet doggy, Missy.  Cathy was always known as a lover of life, a great friend and a hard worker.  She sometimes worked three jobs to raise her girls as a single mom.  She loved playing the piano, crocheting, hunting, fishing and had a green thumb to grow anything.  She is surely loved and greatly missed beyond words.

She is preceded in death by her father, James L. Dickinson of Jasper;  and grandparents, Berthold and Ethel Moore of Carbon Hill and Howard and Geneva Dickinson of Winfield.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jeanne Williams (Wesley) of Jasper and Cynthia Talley of Skokie, IL; mother, Geneva Dickinson of Jasper; sisters, Linda German and Becky Bates of Jasper; grandchildren, Erin and Cody Williams, Lexi Talley, Adrian Ross and Camden and Zain Muhammad; great grandchildren, Brayden Burton and Colt Studdard; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
