Billy Hugh Ward, age 92, of Nauvoo passed away Monday, January 23, 2023. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at New Oak Grove Cemetery in Nauvoo. Dewight Geist will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lima Ward; son, Cary Ward; and wife, Rose Noles Ward.  H e is survived by his son, Mark Ward (Paula) of Ashville; grandsons, Michael Ward of Cook Springs, Tyler Ward (Tiffany) of Leeds and Josh Campbell of Ashville; granddaughter, Fallyn Ward of Ragland; special friend, Juanita Baker of Nauvoo; great grandchildren, Bailey Ward, James Henry Cates, John Wyatt Ward, M attie Lewis and Graham Baker; special family, Angie Carpenter (Carl) and Kevin Baker; and a host of other relatives and friends.
