Mrs. Betty Tew Laird, age 80 of Quinton, died Sunday, December 18, 2022 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Union Grove Cemetery. Rev. Hollis Alexander will officiate.  Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.   Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Preceding her in death were her husband, J.T. Laird; parents, Burley and Nellie Tew; daughter, April Wolfe; seven brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Mike Lovell of Quinton; son, Jimmy Laird II of Adamsville; four grandsons, two granddaughters, three great granddaughters, and four great-great granddaughters, and a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
