Ms. Betty W. Goodwin, age 81, of Dora passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Lawler Cemetery.  James Aycox will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Janie Williams; sisters, Vera "Lizzie" Pate, Hazelle Jones, Ruth Canterberry, Lorene Pate, Jane Kemp, Margaret Cates and Carolyn Williams; brother, John Williams and Owen Williams; son, James "Jimmy" Patrick; and Bobby "Sammy" Pate, a special nephew she cared for many years and considered her own son.

She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.
