Ashton Renee Lawley York ended her journey here on earth on Saturday, May 6, 2023. She was a strong, beautiful, sassy 34 year old mother who never a met a dog she didn't think she could rescue.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lera Odell York; grandfather, Aaron York; and father, Steven Dale York. She is survived by her son, Jayden Holly; daughter, Alayna Holly; step daughter, Zoey Harris; husband, Ross Harris; sisters, Shelley Lawley-Sargent (Andrew) and Samantha Nix (Nick); nephews, Darrin Sargent and Hunter Sargent; niece, Charlie McGee.

Family, friends and others who's lives were touched by Ashton are invited to attend her Celebration of Life on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Bell Sumtion Chapel. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until time of services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
