April Michelle Majors Cordar, age 42 of Hayden, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 16, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Bell Funeral Home - Sumiton. Burial will follow in Phillips Cemetery with Roy Cordell officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening, at the funeral home, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.

April was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Cordar; and her grandmother, Carolyn Majors.

She is survived by two children, Ashley Hulsey (Daniel Cason) and Zachary Cordar; two grandchildren, Emery Cordar and Kynlee Cason; her parents, James Majors, and Charles and Alice Gill; three brothers, Christopher Talley, Klavin Majors, and Roger Majors; four sisters, Rebecca Miller, Brandy Vinson, Becky Lewis, and Katy Breakfield; a sister in-law, Jennifer Lorino; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
