Albert Ray Dockins, age 77 of Empire passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at The Forks of the River on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 2:00pm. Please come as you are—comfortable and casual. He believed love and presence mattered far more than appearances. In respect for those with sensitivities, we kindly ask that no perfume or scented products be worn.

Mr. Dockins was the owner of D&H Tree Service for 45 years. Preceding him in death was his mother, Pauline Vanderford, and son, Scott.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Dockins; his son, Jeff Dockins; his daughter, Angela Dockins Garrison and her husband, Tim; his grandchildren, Hailei, Bubba, Bryanna, and Landon.
