Alaric Zane Dutton, 20, of Oak Grove, Alabama, departed this life on Friday, July 31, 2026. Born on November 10, 2005 he brought immeasurable joy to his parents, Sonya and Pete Files and Shane Dutton, from the moment he arrived.

Alaric was a remarkable young man who approached life with enthusiasm and a strong spirit. He excelled at athletics and academics. His nurturing spirit will be remembered by all. He cherished every moment spent with his family and close friends. His memory will remain a guiding light for all who loved him.

He leaves behind his parents; his brother, Azekial; many step brothers and sisters; and several heartbroken family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday August 5, 2026, from 5pm to 6pm for family, 6pm to 8pm for friends at Bell Funeral Home - Sumiton, Alabama. The Celebration of Life will be held at Fusion Church in Hueytown, Alabama, on Saturday August 8, 2026 from 2pm to 4pm.
