In Loving Memory of Adam Joseph Briner

On Thursday, April 3, 2025, Adam Joseph Briner, 45 years young, departed this life and joined the Lord's eternal choir. Known for his beautiful voice and kind spirit, he left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.

Adam's genuine nature resonated with family, friends, and even acquaintances—who quickly learned that if you needed to know a random fact, he was your man. His laughter and kind-hearted presence made life's challenges more bearable, and his absence leaves a void deeply felt by all who had the fortune to share in his life.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lula and Frank Newman, and Bryon and Dorothy Briner; his father, David (Cindy) Briner; his dad, Jerry Simmons; his sister; April Austin, his aunts, Matha, Glenda, and Shirley; his uncles, Lyn, Larry, Joe, and Jim; his cousins, Joey, Kim, and Philip; and several other treasured family members.

Adam is survived by his loving mother, Patti Simmons; his wife, Jessica; his cherished daughter, Maddy; his sister, Shawnalee, and her husband, Justin Hitt; and his brother-in-love, Nick Hitt. He is also survived by brothers, Jon David (Samantha) Briner, Matthew Briner, and Sam Simmons,  and sister Beth (Jon) Touchet. His in-laws include Carol Miller-Suchey and Duane Miller-Suchey; brothers-in-law Michael, Casey, and Damiane Miller-Suchey; sisters-in-law Ashley Quinn and Hannah (Brandon) Borden; nephew Sebastian Hitt; nieces Kylee Hitt, Callie Briner, and Delilah; and great-nephew Michelangelo Hitt. Also mourning his loss are aunts Cindy Brown (wife Paula Mills); uncles Andrew (Mona) Briner, Skip (Dawn) Briner, and Roger Howerton; and cousins Michael (Michelle) Watson, Shannon (Troy) Markusic, Brian (Juliet) Howerton, Don Brown, Martha Brown, Steve Mayes and April Watson, as well as a never-ending host of extended family and friends, each one a cherished part of Adam's legacy.

While our hearts are heavy with grief, we find solace in knowing that his pain has ended and that he now rests in everlasting peace. Adam's legacy of kindness, humor, and unconditional love will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the honor of knowing him.

Rest in peace, dear Adam. Your spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
